Strategic Finance Professional (AI)

Location: San Francisco or New York with a hybrid work arrangement; remote work is also listed.

Salary: $205,000–$248,000 annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own the economics of Training engagements, including compute, delivery time, reserved capacity, utilization, margins, pipeline, and renewals.
• Build and maintain cost-to-serve models, forecasts, annual plans, unit-cost analyses, and multi-year P&L models.
• Develop pricing structures for committed engagements, usage-based pricing, and packaged offerings.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, and GTM leadership on new products from concept through launch and scale.
• Build pre-launch business cases, provide go/no-go recommendations, and define launch success metrics and scale criteria.
• Run monthly Training business reviews covering bookings, utilization, margin, pipeline, and expansion trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
• 5+ years of experience in strategic finance at a high-growth company, PE/VC investing, and/or investment banking.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including unit economics and cost-to-serve models built from raw usage and cost data.
• Ability to synthesize complex information into clear executive recommendations and make decisions with incomplete data.
• Strong communication, presentation, attention to detail, ownership, and execution skills.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills; familiarity with SQL or BI tools is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience with GPU compute economics or cloud infrastructure.
• Understanding of ML model training and fine-tuning.
• Experience with product-led growth economics, including free tiers, credits, and conversion.
• Experience pricing or launching a new product line.
• Experience at a usage-based company.
