TL;DR
Senior DevOps & Infrastructure Consultant (AWS EKS): Architecting, delivering, and maintaining critical cloud platform components for Inflect’s AWS EKS environment with an accent on infrastructure automation, production reliability, and observability pipelines. Focus on designing Terraform modules, establishing SLO/SLI and error budget frameworks, operating OpenTelemetry pipelines, and building automated CI/CD and resilience tooling.
Location: Remote in Brazil
Salary: $6,500–$9,000 USD per month, based on experience

What you will do
- Architect, deliver, and maintain Terraform modules and cloud platform components across AWS EKS, RDS, ingress controllers, and TLS automation.
- Define SLO and SLI frameworks, automate error budget monitoring, and reduce operational toil through tooling.
- Design and operate OpenTelemetry capture, collection, and routing pipelines.
- Provide specialized code reviews, pull-request assessments, and technical architecture recommendations.
- Develop reusable platform patterns and automated CI/CD tooling to streamline developer deployments.
- Define the operating model and maintain a global runbook covering SOPs, regional coordination, and issue remediation.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform on AWS EKS.
- Experience with managed RDS instances, ingress controllers, TLS certificate automation, and cloud cost and capacity tuning.
- Proven SRE experience defining SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, and production reliability practices.
- Hands-on experience designing and operating OpenTelemetry telemetry pipelines.
- Fluent professional English communication skills for cross-border asynchronous collaboration and code review advisory.
- Active Brazilian corporate entity (CNPJ) and valid electronic service invoices (NFS-e) are required.
