Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; hybrid work with in-office presence required at least 2 days per week.

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and manage development infrastructure services across on-premises environments and AWS.
• Build and improve automation for software builds, deployments, infrastructure management, and development tooling.
• Develop product deployment automation and support multiple software products across global environments.
• Enhance observability through metrics, monitoring, alerting, and centralized logging.
• Guide developers through best practices, troubleshooting, documentation, and training.
• Participate in a weekly on-call rotation and collaborate with a distributed team, including occasional travel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in DevOps, software engineering, or a related field, including 7 years with the required technologies.
• Experience building software automation with Ansible and developing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Jenkins.
• Experience with Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes, AWS infrastructure management and scaling.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, Datadog, Elasticsearch, and Splunk for monitoring, observability, alerting, and logging.
