Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS/Windows)

Location: 240 Blackfriars Road, London, UK; in-person work three days a week or more, with flexibility to work from home or remotely at other times.

What you will do

• Manage highly available Windows Server environments running on AWS EC2.
• Own patching, vulnerability remediation, system hardening, and security event response.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation with Terraform or similar tools.
• Develop PowerShell automation and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems.
• Partner with engineering and security teams to troubleshoot applications, support releases, and improve deployments.
• Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, escalations, and post-mortems.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or systems engineering.
• Strong production experience with AWS and Windows Server infrastructure.
• Experience with patching, vulnerability remediation, security events, and production troubleshooting.
• Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform.
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering and security teams while supporting production workloads.

Nice to have

• Active Directory integration in AWS, including Managed AD or AD Connector.
• Sitecore CMS, .NET applications, and IIS production experience.
• AWS Systems Manager, Docker, Kubernetes, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry experience.
• Understanding of FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
