Software Engineer III, Full Stack (Java/React)

Location: Hybrid role requiring 2–3 days per week in the Galway, Ireland office, with the option to work 2 days remotely.

What you will do

• Design, implement, test, and deploy operations-stack microservices to Google Cloud Platform.
• Build new product features and technical enhancements for transportation management, availability and reservations, and warehouse management systems.
• Develop clean, testable, scalable systems using Java, React, JavaScript, Kotlin, Spring Boot, Redis, RabbitMQ, MySQL, MongoDB, and Splunk.
• Improve architecture and internal designs to increase the performance and scalability of key product features.
• Develop warehouse automation technologies, including conveyance, robotic sortation, RFID, and a PWA for rugged Android handheld devices.
• Work with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to identify and deliver software solutions.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science or software engineering, or 4+ years of programming experience.
• Professional experience with object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns using Java and JavaScript with React.
• Experience shipping multiple large and complex software projects.
• Experience working as part of a collaborative software development team.
• Ability to learn new tools quickly, manage time, and handle competing priorities.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to mentor and learn from teammates.
