Data IT Delivery Lead (m/f/d)

Location: Košice, Slovakia; remote work is available only within Slovakia due to European taxation regulations.

Salary: negotiable base salary, with a minimum of €2,700 gross per month, plus a variable component and other financial benefits.

What you will do

• Own domain data products throughout their lifecycle, from design and development to operationalization, evolution, and retirement.
• Lead data engineering delivery across ingestion, pipelines, transformations, APIs, and related engineering processes.
• Co-lead with business domain owners to align priorities, roadmaps, and delivery outcomes.
• Build and scale domain data products on a unified data platform, ensuring quality, consistency, and reuse.
• Define and enforce standards for interoperability, governance, and data quality.
• Improve reliability, operational stability, technical debt management, and architectural evolution across domains.

Requirements

• Experience leading data engineering or data product teams and partnering strategically with business domain owners.
• Experience building and operating scalable data products on modern cloud-based data platforms.
• Knowledge of data ingestion, pipelines, transformations, APIs, monitoring, observability, software development, and cloud environments.
• Experience with data product management, domain-oriented product design, federated data environments, interoperability, and cross-domain collaboration.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, planning, risk management, and continuous improvement skills.
• English at C1 level is required. A Master's degree in Information Technologies or a comparable background is expected.

Nice to have

• German at B2 level.
• Experience in IT delivery, IT environments, or business transformation.
• Experience with data analysis, presentation, concept development, and customer-oriented thinking.
