Senior Technical Accounting Analyst (Semiconductor)

Salary: $101.1K–$146.4K USD annually for the Bay Area California location, plus incentive opportunities.

What you will do

• Support external reporting and prepare accurate financial statements and disclosures for SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K.
• Manage documentation, disclosure checklists, filing timelines, XBRL tagging, and responses to external auditors, legal counsel, and governance committees.
• Research complex accounting matters under US GAAP and prepare clear, well-supported conclusions.
• Review contracts to identify accounting implications for recognition, measurement, classification, capitalization, and disclosure.
• Support statutory reporting for international legal entities and assess the impact of new accounting pronouncements.
• Identify improvements to accounting policies, processes, systems, and reporting through standardized reviews, analysis, and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including technical accounting, financial reporting, and public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Strong analytical, writing, communication, and project-management skills, including the ability to explain complex accounting matters to non-accounting stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Excel, including reconciliations, data analysis, and allocation models.
• Applicants must be eligible for any required U.S. export authorizations.

Nice to have

• SEC reporting and multinational statutory reporting experience.
• Public-company, Big Four, semiconductor, or technology-industry experience.
• CPA certification.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP, contract-management, lease-accounting, or XBRL systems.
