Focus on implementing algorithms on the C3 AI Platform, diagnosing false positives and low-risk scores, and collaborating with data and subject matter experts to validate and interpret new data.

What you will do
- Research, design, implement, and deploy machine learning algorithms, intelligent agents, and optimization solutions for enterprise applications.
- Support customers in building applications on the C3 AI Suite.
- Contribute to new C3 AI Suite features.
- Analyze model performance across asset fleets, diagnose low-risk scores and false positives, and recommend hyperparameter adjustments.
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, subject matter experts, and customer teams to validate, interpret, and apply new data elements.
Requirements
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related field.
- Applied AI experience, including generative AI, agentic solutions, regression, classification, supervised learning, and unsupervised learning.
- Strong mathematical background in linear algebra, calculus, probability, and statistics.
- Experience with scalable machine learning, including MapReduce or streaming.
- Ability to drive projects independently and work effectively in a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with JavaScript, Python, or R.
- Experience with Java or Scala.
- Portfolio of projects, GitHub repositories, or research papers.
