What you will do
- Analyze and model large multimodal datasets to improve shopping journeys and customer experiences.
- Develop scalable statistical and machine learning solutions using structured and unstructured signals.
- Design and analyze A/B tests and experiments for new features and model improvements.
- Build metrics, dashboards, reporting frameworks, ETL pipelines, and experimentation processes.
- Develop predictive models and conduct deep-dive analyses focused on conversion, engagement, and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Applied Scientists, Engineers, and product partners to evaluate and deploy models and communicate insights.
Requirements
- Experience with machine learning, statistical modeling, data analysis tools, and performance parameters.
- Experience in a machine learning or data scientist role at a large technology company.
- Programming or statistical software experience with SQL, Python, R, SAS, Matlab, or similar tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining complex concepts.
- Master’s degree or above in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related scientific field.
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS services including S3, Redshift, SageMaker, EMR, Kinesis, Lambda, and EC2.
- Experience defining benchmarks for evaluating generative AI model performance.
- Experience with multi-team and cross-disciplinary projects.
