Specialist, Facilities (Automotive)

Location: Blythewood, South Carolina, United States; daily attendance in the office is required. Occasional domestic and international business travel is required, along with a valid driver's license and passport.

Salary: $85,000–$105,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Lead integrated facility management programs, including vendor oversight, employee support, policy enforcement, reporting, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate furniture moves, space reconfigurations, facility improvements, and workplace services across the Production Center and Supplier Park.
• Manage small works and light carpentry projects in non-production spaces, including scope, estimates, and project management.
• Develop and manage vendor relationships, service delivery, performance, contracts, renewals, and negotiations.
• Maintain key-management programs, service metrics, compliance records, budgets, invoices, and leadership reporting.
• Resolve workplace issues, respond to employee inquiries, and identify opportunities to improve space utilization, sustainability, service quality, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
• 4–7 years of experience in facilities management, construction, or a related discipline.
• Experience with CMMS platforms and facilities performance tracking.
• Working knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and BMS.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to read construction drawings and technical documents.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, prioritization, and independent-working skills, including the ability to respond to urgent issues after hours.

Nice to have

• Experience with CAD or Bluebeam.
