Senior Manager, Autonomous Vehicle Assembly Operations (Autonomous Vehicles): Scaling the assembly and integration of base electric trucks into production-ready autonomous vehicles with an accent on electromechanical systems, manufacturing quality, and repeatable production processes. Focus on designing production systems, leading technician teams, implementing MES and ERP controls, and solving complex vehicle assembly and test challenges.

Location: Henderson, Colorado, United States; based at the headquarters, with travel as needed.

Salary: $155,000–$215,000 per year, plus benefits, equity, and bonus eligibility.

hirify.global develops zero-emission autonomous systems for logistics yard operations, including self-driving electric trucks, robotic manipulation systems, and proprietary safety systems.

What you will do

  • Lead the end-to-end upfit, assembly, integration, inspection, testing, and verification of electric trucks into autonomous vehicles.
  • Develop the manufacturing roadmap for scaling from low-volume builds to efficient, repeatable commercial production.
  • Lead vehicle assembly and integration technicians while managing safety, quality, delivery, inventory, cost, facilities, and continuous improvement.
  • Design production layouts, workstations, tooling, material flow, staffing models, capacity plans, standard work, and technician training programs.
  • Implement MES, manufacturing data, ERP/MRP, inventory, traceability, quality-record, and production-control systems.
  • Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, OEMs, and contract manufacturers on production readiness, testing, process transfer, and manufacturing strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related technical discipline.
  • At least 7 years of experience in assembly, production, manufacturing engineering, or advanced manufacturing for vehicles, complex hardware, or electromechanical systems, including 3+ years leading manufacturing or technician teams.
  • Experience scaling assembly or manufacturing operations from concept or low-volume production through commercial scale.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly, vehicle wiring and harnesses, sensors, compute hardware, robotics, and integrated electromechanical systems.
  • Experience with assembly process design, line balancing, tooling, material flow, capacity planning, standard work, inspection processes, control plans, ERP/MRP, MES, and ISO 9001-compliant manufacturing.
  • Ability to work hands-on in a fast-moving production environment and travel as needed.

Nice to have

  • Experience managing OEMs, contract manufacturers, outsourced manufacturing, or process transfers from pilot to external production.
  • Experience in supply chain management, vendor negotiation, facilities management, manufacturing test automation, digital work instructions, or traceability systems.
  • Master's degree or ASQ, CMfgE, CPIM, Lean, or Six Sigma certification.
