IC Architect (Automotive)

What you will do

• Define automotive communication bus transceiver ICs and draft datasheets for new products.
• Communicate with customers to identify market trends and translate them into product specifications.
• Work with design engineers to define and develop new IC products.
• Evaluate product concepts through simulation and experimental verification, and build prototypes with the team.
• Coordinate road-test plans with design and application teams and resolve product development issues.

Requirements

• More than three years of application engineering experience in testing and verification of automotive communication bus transceivers, such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet, MOST, A2B, or SerDes.
• Master’s degree in electrical engineering or communications.
• Experience using oscilloscopes, VNAs, logic analyzers, and similar test instruments.
• Experience with automotive communication bus EMC testing and debugging.
• Strong fundamentals in circuit theory, microelectronics, signal processing, communications, and power electronics.
• Good English writing and reading abilities required; good spoken English is a plus.
