Senior Director, Administration - Plant (Automotive)

Location: Based in Blythewood, South Carolina, with 4–5 days per week in the office; domestic and international travel required.

Salary: $210,000–$255,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Serve as the senior on-site Administration leader for the South Carolina production facility.
• Lead EHS, security and fire protection, emergency preparedness, and workplace operations supporting manufacturing.
• Translate enterprise administration strategies and standards into effective plant-level execution.
• Lead plant-based teams, manage resources and budgets, and drive accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee regulatory compliance, significant incidents, investigations, corrective actions, and operational risk mitigation.
• Support production readiness, operational continuity, organizational growth, and long-term site success.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, EHS, engineering, industrial technology, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial, automotive, or similarly complex operational environments.
• Experience leading multiple functions and teams through organizational growth, operational ramp-up, startup environments, or transformation.
• Experience working in matrixed organizations and balancing plant needs with enterprise standards.
• Strong business acumen, financial management, organizational leadership, and regulatory compliance knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license and passport required; willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
