Senior Network Engineer II

Location: Hybrid or remote in the United States; primary location Warren, New Jersey

Salary: $119,000–$140,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network and security solutions across on-premises, hybrid, and Azure cloud environments.
• Lead network modernization initiatives and Cisco SD-WAN deployments while improving WAN resiliency and application performance.
• Engineer Zscaler, Palo Alto, Zero Trust, network segmentation, Infoblox DDI, Forescout NAC, Cisco wireless, and enterprise Wi-Fi solutions.
• Support routing and switching architectures involving BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, VRFs, QoS, and high availability.
• Act as a Level 3 escalation point, lead root cause analysis, and mentor operations and engineering teams.
• Lead projects from inception through completion and support after-hours maintenance, emergency changes, and weekend implementations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or network engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of enterprise network engineering or operations experience, including 5+ years supporting global environments.
• Experience leading large-scale network transformation initiatives.
• Expertise with Cisco routing and switching, BGP/OSPF/EIGRP, MPLS/VPN/QoS, Palo Alto and Panorama, Zscaler, Azure Networking, Infoblox DDI, Cisco SD-WAN, Forescout NAC, and Cisco WLC.
• One required certification: CCNP Enterprise or CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure, or Palo Alto Networks PCNSE.

• Zscaler ZDTA or ZIA/ZPA certification.
• Infoblox Certified DDI Engineer certification.
• Cisco SD-WAN ENSDWI Specialist certification.
• Forescout Certified Network Administrator certification.
