Endpoint Engineer (macOS)

Location: New York, NY, United States

Salary: $150,000–$225,000 per year, plus discretionary performance-based bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Maintain a high-quality end-user computing experience across the firm.
• Troubleshoot macOS engineering, security, deployment, and endpoint issues as an escalation point.
• Investigate recurring problems and implement long-term solutions that improve uptime, reliability, and productivity.
• Research, test, and implement best practices for the technical stack and endpoint processes.
• Support technicians and educate technical and non-technical users on effective workflows and tools.
• Create clear documentation for solutions, requirements, and future reference.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge and practical experience with macOS.
• Experience provisioning, deploying, and maintaining macOS endpoints with Apple Business and MDM platforms such as Jamf Pro, Workspace One, or Microsoft Intune.
• Experience with macOS packaging and deployment tools including AutoPkg and Munki.
• Proficiency with Bash or Python.
• Familiarity with enterprise networking, including 802.1X, Wi-Fi, and IPv4.
• Experience with collaboration, conferencing, remote IT, and ticketing systems, plus strong technical and non-technical communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with osquery, Salt, or iOS management.
