Mac Endpoint Engineer (macOS)

Location: Buffalo, New York, United States of America. Hybrid schedule with four days onsite at Seneca One Buffalo and one day per week working from home.

Salary: $97,100–$161,800 annual, USD.

What you will do

• Design, implement, administer, and maintain enterprise macOS workstation solutions.
• Manage Apple device provisioning, deployment, upgrades, refreshes, and retirement using Apple Business Manager, Automated Device Enrollment, Intune, and Jamf.
• Develop configuration profiles, compliance policies, security baselines, operating system updates, patches, and application upgrades.
• Package, deploy, test, support, and roll back Mac applications across macOS releases.
• Implement endpoint security controls, support vulnerability remediation, and maintain regulatory and audit compliance.
• Develop scripting and automation solutions, maintain technical documentation, support incident and change processes, and lead small-to-medium engineering initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 6 combined years of higher education and/or work experience in systems design, management, and/or architecture.
• 4+ years of endpoint engineering experience and 3+ years supporting enterprise macOS environments.
• Experience with the Apple ecosystem, Jamf Pro, endpoint security, compliance, and device management best practices.
• Experience scripting and automating administrative functions using PowerShell, Bash, or similar tools.
• Experience with Apple Business Manager, Automated Device Enrollment, Intune for macOS, Declarative Device Management, Jamf APIs, and Platform SSO.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills; participation in on-call support is required as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting enterprise Windows environments.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Azure, Configuration Manager, and related endpoint management solutions.
• Experience with enterprise application packaging and deployment.
• Experience in regulated industries such as banking or financial services.
