Product Development Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Drive testability and manufacturability from component feasibility through production ramp.
• Develop and validate testability circuits, test flows, methodologies, and production test hardware.
• Evaluate integrated circuit designs on automatic test equipment and debug functionality and performance issues to root cause.
• Characterize devices, define datasheet specifications, analyze yield and bin splits, and resolve manufacturing issues.
• Develop software programs that convert design validation vectors and control complex test equipment.
• Coordinate manufacturing readiness, qualification, capacity planning, factory certification, and production ramp with fab, assembly, and test partners.

Requirements

• Experience with integrated circuit testability, manufacturability, validation, and production ramp activities.
• Ability to work with automatic test equipment, test methods, validation vectors, and production test hardware.
• Experience with device characterization, yield analysis, bin split analysis, and test-time optimization.
• Ability to collaborate with design, DFx, fab, assembly, quality, reliability, and manufacturing teams.
• Work location: Penang, Malaysia.
