Project Manager (Fintech)

Location: New York City, United States; required to work 4 days per week onsite at the office

Salary: $140,000–$200,000 annual base salary, plus discretionary annual target bonus, performance incentives, and benefits.

What you will do

• Coordinate project delivery across workstreams, track milestones, and escalate risks and dependencies.
• Refine business requirements with stakeholders and product managers, identify gaps, and propose pragmatic solutions.
• Prepare status reports, RAID logs, decision registers, and communications for senior leadership.
• Facilitate working sessions, stand-ups, and steering committees with cross-functional teams.
• Map current-state processes, define future workflows, and translate business needs into technology specifications.
• Develop scalable project management frameworks, templates, and governance practices while liaising between business and technology teams.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in project coordination, business analysis, or COO office/business management functions within financial services, fintech, or another regulated industry.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, identify gaps in requirements, and drive outcomes with minimal supervision.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of finance, operations, or trading workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confident engagement with senior stakeholders.
• Pragmatic, hands-on, resourceful approach in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or Smartsheet.

Nice to have

• CAPM, PMP, PRINCE2 Foundation, Agile, or Scrum certification.
• Familiarity with ITIL or COBIT and regulated or compliance-driven environments.
• Experience with digital assets, blockchain, exchange operations, system implementations, integrations, or platform enhancements.
