Senior Project Manager (Fintech)

Location: New York, United States; hybrid working opportunities available.

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Initiate, analyze, plan, and deliver projects aligned with defined business objectives.
• Lead multiple projects simultaneously across global, multifunctional teams including IT, Finance, Operations, Risk, and Compliance.
• Gather business requirements and evaluate tactical and strategic solutions, highlighting trade-offs for stakeholders.
• Develop project plans and documentation covering goals, timelines, resources, budgets, and risk mitigation.
• Drive technical discussions and decisions related to system upgrades, digital transformation, software implementation, and fintech solutions.
• Support PMO standards, reporting, planning, tracking, resource management, and risk management across the organization.

Requirements

• Computer science degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant project management experience in a global financial environment or technology-driven industry.
• Experience in the financial industry, specifically with front-office market activities.
• Software development background through a computer science degree or hands-on development experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with different timelines and navigate ambiguous, high-pressure environments.
• Strong reporting, data analysis, dashboard, KPI, and Excel skills, including data manipulation, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs.
