FP&A Senior Analyst / Senior Analyst, Estimating & Pricing (Aerospace)

Location: Hybrid, with four days per week in the Denver, CO headquarters or Long Beach, CA hub. Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations under ITAR.

Salary: $115,000–$165,000 base salary per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Build and maintain cost estimates and pricing models for government proposals across fixed-price, cost-plus, and time-and-materials contracts.
• Develop wrap-rate and indirect-rate structures covering fringe, overhead, and G&A.
• Partner with business development and program managers on pricing strategies for spacecraft, payload, software, AI, and SaaS offerings.
• Build financial models covering revenue forecasting, cash-flow projections, scenario analysis, budgeting, and quarterly forecasting.
• Prepare enterprise- and program-level financial reporting and variance analyses.
• Improve FP&A tools and data pipelines to increase the speed and accuracy of estimates and reporting.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, cost estimating, pricing, or program finance within the U.S. defense, aerospace and defense, or government-contracting sector.
• Strong Excel financial-modeling skills and confidence working with large, complex datasets.
• Hands-on experience with indirect-rate structures, wrap-rate development, cost estimates, and price-to-win models.
• Understanding of CPFF, CPIF, firm-fixed-price, and time-and-materials contract structures.
• Ability to explain financial concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• U.S. work authorization or eligibility for the authorizations required by ITAR.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS, DCAA audit requirements, and cost accounting standards.
• Experience modeling hardware-and-software hybrid programs, SaaS, licensing, or usage-based revenue.
• Familiarity with ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Experience at an early-stage or growth-stage defense technology company.
• Interest in AI-enabled tools for financial modeling, estimating, or reporting.
