Strategic Finance Analyst (Aerospace & Defense)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end financial models for products and business lines, including data gathering and sanitization.
• Develop financial frameworks supporting manufacturing, supply chain, facilities, and other strategic decisions.
• Perform rapid analyses and convert initial findings into scalable long-term solutions.
• Improve transparency into manufacturing costs and develop cost-reduction roadmaps with FP&A.
• Maintain competitive landscape databases and screen targets for emerging opportunities and threats.
• Support investor relations and partner with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, advanced development, and growth teams on multi-year initiatives and proposals.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, FP&A, consulting, or finance roles in a high-growth hardware or manufacturing startup.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. institution in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field preferred.
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including dynamic financial models and scenario analyses.
• Willingness to learn and use NetSuite, Manufacturo, Adaptive, and other ERP and FP&A systems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with customers, engineering and test teams, and suppliers.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident and comply with U.S. export control requirements.
