Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States; onsite 5 days a week

Salary: $240,800–$478,200 per year; target hiring range near the midpoint of $301,000–$398,500, adjusted for geographic differentials.

What you will do

• Lead and grow the software engineering organization, setting strategy, technical architecture, and team direction.
• Develop automation for custom part design and preparation across customers, data providers, and component manufacturers.
• Improve subscription-based hardware software performance, user experience, reliability, and diagnostics.
• Scale architecture supporting applications in dental, automotive, sports equipment, and other manufacturing markets.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, performance, and cost efficiency for services used by factories worldwide.
• Partner with executive leadership and Product Management to align engineering initiatives with business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience delivering software-enabled hardware products and cloud-based software solutions.
• Leadership experience managing and developing diverse software engineering teams.
• Strategic and analytical experience leading software solutions for commercial or industrial products.
• Familiarity with AWS, Linux, C++, Kubernetes, Terraform, React, WebGL, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Bazel.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to drive clarity and simplicity.
