Director, Investor Relations

Location: Remote in New York (preferred), or hybrid at the Irvine, CA or Denver, CO offices

Salary: $185,000–$205,000 base annually, plus bonus and sign-on equity grant.

What you will do

• Lead investor messaging, presentations, earnings materials, executive communications, board content, and strategic stakeholder deliverables.
• Drive the annual investor engagement strategy, including earnings cycles, meetings, conferences, roadshows, and non-deal roadshows.
• Advise executive leadership and prepare executives for investor and analyst engagements.
• Own the investor relations operating model, including systems, CRM strategy, investor data, tracking, and reporting workflows.
• Partner with finance, legal, and executive leadership to ensure accurate and aligned external communications.
• Monitor analyst coverage, investor sentiment, peer activity, and industry trends while building relationships with analysts and investors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Communications, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in investment banking, sell-side research, public company investor relations, corporate finance, treasury, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, public company dynamics, capital markets, and investor expectations.
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills, including operating models, valuation, peer benchmarking, and industry analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate as a credible partner to senior leadership, analysts, investors, and board members while managing multiple priorities independently.

Nice to have

• MBA or CFA.
• Experience in digital infrastructure, power, data centers, AI, or other capital-intensive, high-growth industries.
