Senior Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist (Electric Vehicles)

Location: San Francisco Hub, hybrid — 3 days on-site and 2 days remote

Salary: $80,000–$105,000 annually, plus potential discretionary bonuses, equity, and benefits.

hirify.global is a technology-forward electric vehicle dealership that buys, reconditions, and sells pre-owned EVs through a San Francisco hub model.

What you will do

• Own the full accounts receivable and accounts payable cycles, including customer payments, vendor payments, refunds, and daily bank reconciliations.
• Monitor outsourced bookkeeping work in Ramp and maintain vendor records, W-9/1099 tracking, payment files, and transaction mappings.
• Process vehicle purchase payments, lien payoffs, transport invoices, floor plan payments, and lender-related transactions.
• Track and clear customer deposits, lender funding, credit card and ACH clearing accounts, and cash-in-transit balances.
• Manage customer refunds and credits for DMV overages, vehicle returns, warranty cancellations, overpayments, and deal unwinds.
• Coordinate with title, F&I, sales, operations, acquisitions, lenders, and the Controller during month-end close and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of full-cycle accounts receivable and accounts payable experience, ideally in automotive retail, dealership operations, or another transaction-heavy environment.
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and reconciliation workbooks.
• High attention to detail and ability to process hundreds of transactions per month.
• Clear communication skills and ability to work across finance, operations, sales, title, and F&I without constant direction.
• Ability to work in the San Francisco Hub on a hybrid schedule with three on-site days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with dealership management systems such as CDK, DealerTrack, or Reynolds & Reynolds.
• Hands-on QuickBooks Online experience with journal entries, invoices, bills, bank feeds, and reconciliations.
• Experience with Ramp, Brex, or similar corporate card platforms.
• Familiarity with floor plan financing, NACHA/ACH processing, lender funding workflows, EV retail, or process automation.
