Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist (Autonomous Vehicle Finance)

What you will do

• Process vendor invoices, verify coding, route approvals, and execute ACH, wire, and check payment runs across multiple entities.
• Reconcile vendor statements, corporate cards, expense transactions, and discrepancies while maintaining complete vendor records.
• Issue customer invoices, apply incoming cash, monitor aging, support collections, and resolve billing inquiries.
• Support monthly close through AP/AR reconciliations, accruals, supporting schedules, and audit-ready documentation.
• Follow internal controls, flag exceptions, and help improve processes through automation and reduced manual work.

Requirements

• 2+ years of accounts payable and/or accounts receivable experience.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and the AP/AR cycle.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and ability to manage high transaction volumes.
• Proficiency in Excel and willingness to learn new accounting systems.
• Dependability, teamwork, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-entity or multi-currency accounting.
• Industry experience in mobility, autonomous vehicles, rideshare, logistics, or fleet operations.
• Experience in a high-growth or resource-constrained startup.
