Digital Transformation Program Manager (Data Governance)

Location: Hybrid, with an average requirement of 2 days per week from an HPE office

What you will do

• Lead data governance and digital transformation programs from discovery and requirements definition through solution design, implementation, adoption, and closure.
• Establish, operationalize, and improve governance frameworks, policies, standards, processes, controls, and operating models across Global Operations.
• Partner with business operations, IT, the Chief Data Officer organization, analytics teams, and process owners to design scalable governance solutions.
• Manage critical data elements, ownership, data quality rules, metadata, business glossaries, data lineage, catalogues, and stewardship practices.
• Define governance metrics, data quality KPIs, dashboards, and adoption measures, while preparing executive updates and recommendations.
• Support change management, communication, stakeholder alignment, issue resolution, and sustained adoption of governance practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, data, business analytics, operations, supply chain, or an equivalent discipline.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in data governance, data management, digital transformation, business process transformation, manufacturing operations, supply chain, or related enterprise functions.
• Experience implementing or operationalizing data governance frameworks, processes, standards, or tools within a complex organization.
• Experience managing projects or programs from discovery through closure and collaborating with business operations, IT, data, analytics, and senior leadership teams.
• Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder-influence skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with master data, data quality, metadata management, data catalogues, business glossaries, data lineage, or data stewardship.

Nice to have

• Manufacturing, operations, supply chain, high-tech, or enterprise process experience.
• Experience with SAP MDG, S/4HANA rollouts, data harmonization, data cleansing, or master data domains such as material, vendor, customer, BOM, or supply chain data.
• Experience with Collibra, Informatica, Microsoft Purview, or equivalent data governance platforms.
• PMP, DAMA, DCAM, or equivalent project management or data management certification.
