Senior Engineering Program Manager

Location: United States (Remote); remote or hybrid as applicable.

Salary: $175,000–$220,000 annually, depending on metro area, plus variable commission or company bonus.

What you will do

• Represent engineering in early intake and cross-functional triage, ensuring customer requests and urgent initiatives move forward.
• Own request routing and ticket lifecycles across high-level EPD planning boards and team-level Jira boards.
• Track dependencies, requirements, and delivery through completion while enabling engineering teams without micromanagement.
• Support the architectural transition away from the monolith and help maintain consistent product responses across BUILDER and OPERATOR interfaces.
• Coordinate engineering audits, identify single points of failure, and communicate business risks to leadership.
• Build and scale engineering visibility dashboards and align ownership across 15+ product pods.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of software architecture concepts, including monoliths, microservices, API versioning, and data flows.
• Experience converting strategic direction and high-level meeting outcomes into structured, trackable project plans.
• Deep familiarity with Jira and workflows spanning strategic planning boards and detailed engineering boards.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams, clarify ownership boundaries, and drive alignment without formal authority.
• Proactive problem-solving skills for identifying and removing intake and delivery bottlenecks.
• Experience in a high-growth or pre-IPO technology company.
