Staff Technical Program Manager (Software)

Salary: $180,000–$240,000 per year, depending on experience, qualifications, and location

What you will do

• Lead complex, multidisciplinary software programs across embedded software, controls, connectivity, and backend integration.
• Plan requirements, schedules, resources, technical issues, releases, and risks with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate software and hardware engineering work for high-visibility consumer-facing products.
• Drive feature and program execution against roadmap goals, tracking progress and resolving delivery issues.
• Communicate program status to stakeholders and leadership across locations and time zones.
• Improve development processes and maintain effective relationships across engineering and product teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• 7+ years of experience in program management, engineering, or a similar cross-functional role.
• Experience launching consumer electronics, IoT devices, vehicles, or comparable hardware/software products from concept to production.
• Experience managing embedded device hardware/software releases and integration with backend systems.
• Proficiency with bug and task tracking tools, especially Jira.
• Strong experience working with cross-functional hardware and software teams, communicating clearly, and turning complex problems into decisions and actions.
