Principal Technical Program Manager (CoreAI)

Location: United States, Washington, Redmond; hybrid work with the option to work from home up to half of the week

Salary: USD $142,800–$274,800 base pay per year across the U.S. A separate range of USD $188,000–$304,200 per year applies to the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area.

What you will do

• Own the execution strategy for Azure capacity management across the Foundry Agent Platform.
• Plan, forecast, and allocate Azure compute and accelerator capacity for AI workloads.
• Translate demand signals into staging and implementation plans and secure availability with supply and infrastructure teams.
• Lead complex, cross-functional programs by managing roadmaps, schedules, success criteria, metrics, risks, and dependencies.
• Partner with engineering leaders and the CVP organization on capacity, investment, metrics, and release decisions.
• Establish operating rhythms, dashboards, governance practices, and reporting while mentoring senior TPMs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 6+ years of experience in engineering, product or technical program management, data analysis, or product development, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check and applicable customer or government security screenings.
• Preferred: bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience, including 8+ years managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, capacity planning or demand forecasting, and large-scale distributed systems, ideally on Azure.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and use metrics to drive outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience leading governance, release, or operational-readiness programs in a cloud or AI infrastructure environment.
• Experience coaching teams and mentoring technical program managers.
