Staff Industrial Engineer (Supply Chain Operations)

Location: Remote in the United States, limited to AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, KS, KY, IA, ID, IL, IN, MA, ME, MI, MN, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI; 50% travel required.

Salary: $113,130–$188,550 annual base pay, plus performance bonus.

What you will do

• Design building layouts and product flows for new and existing fulfillment facilities.
• Evaluate supply chain, fulfillment, and transportation processes to identify and remove waste and productivity barriers.
• Launch process automation, define standard operating procedures, and reduce process variation using Process Control methodology.
• Lead corrective and preventive action teams and support continuous improvement initiatives arising from customer complaints and quality issues.
• Analyze process data, establish operational metrics, prepare project estimates and financial proposals, and manage operational projects.
• Work on the operations floor and coordinate with cross-functional teams on process changes and equipment planning.

Requirements

• 6–7+ years of professional Industrial Engineering experience.
• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience launching greenfield operations facilities and process automation.
• Advanced knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards, plus knowledge of supply chain processes.
• Project management, critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Basic 2D/3D CAD software skills.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Knowledge of lean and continuous improvement concepts and processes.
