Industrialization Engineer (Aerospace): Building and stabilizing supplier processes for aerospace castings, forgings, precision-machined components, and assemblies with an accent on supplier technical partnership, process control, and hardware delivery. Location: Remote within the United States; supports supplier territories in Los Angeles, the Midwest including Detroit and Cincinnati, and the Northeast including Connecticut. Travel to supplier facilities is required around 25% of the time, sometimes on short notice. Applicants must meet the ITAR/EAR eligibility requirements for U.S. aerospace technology.

Salary: P3 $108,000–$146,000; P4 $128,000–$173,000; P5 $158,000–$212,000 per year. The role may also include a sign-on bonus of up to $100,000, long-term incentives or equity, and flexible PTO.

What you will do

  • Partner directly with suppliers producing castings, forgings, precision-machined parts, and assemblies.
  • Travel to supplier facilities to diagnose production issues, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead technical problem solving between suppliers and Boom engineering, quality, and supply chain teams.
  • Improve tooling, manufacturing flow, inspection, and process control.
  • Strengthen supplier manufacturing capability and problem-solving practices alongside engineers, machinists, and operators.
  • Build supplier relationships while maintaining demanding technical and delivery standards.

Requirements

  • Typically 5–10 years of experience for P3, 10–15 years for P4, or 15+ years for P5.
  • Experience with supplier manufacturing, castings, forgings, precision machining, or assemblies.
  • Strong technical judgment, communication, root cause analysis, and corrective-action skills.
  • Ability to lead through influence and collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and supplier teams.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% and visit supplier facilities on short notice when required.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. government authorizations under ITAR and EAR.
