Senior Industrial Engineer

Location: Hybrid in Columbia, South Carolina, United States; travel to client sites across the US and internationally is required approximately 15–20% of the time.

Salary: USD 162,000–187,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop value propositions for process optimization, manufacturing, and industrial advisory services.
• Deliver data-driven insights and translate analysis into practical, actionable solutions.
• Manage projects and workstreams according to quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and industrial engineering techniques to improve client operations.
• Build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders while contributing to proposals and thought leadership.
• Coach and mentor colleagues, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and help develop best-practice methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing, or a related discipline, plus at least 8 years of related experience, or equivalent demonstrable experience.
• United States citizenship is required.
• US employment authorization sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, process improvement, or related operational environments.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, process mapping, data analysis, and performance improvement.
• Ability to analyze complex problems, develop value-driven recommendations, and collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing, or a closely related discipline.
• Professional memberships or certifications.
• Experience in regulated industries such as defense, aviation, nuclear, infrastructure, or manufacturing.
• Experience with production systems, facility design, automation, robotics, manufacturing systems integration, digital manufacturing, simulation, or data analytics tools.
• Consulting experience in complex project environments.
