Technical Program Director

Location: Hybrid in Basingstoke, United Kingdom; office attendance expectations will be confirmed by the hiring manager.

What you will do

• Lead a group of program managers and manage multiple complex, end-to-end IT initiatives across technology and product groups.
• Coordinate non-standard hardware and software delivery across systems, database, middleware, network, and other technical domains.
• Partner with product managers, engineers, architects, customers, and vendors to formalize infrastructure designs and delivery plans.
• Communicate technical issues, program status, escalations, risks, budgets, schedules, and change control to senior leadership.
• Oversee program performance, policy compliance, quality, and delivery against strategic business objectives.
• Improve team processes to accelerate innovation, reduce costs, and improve quality across virtual, cross-cultural teams.

Requirements

• 10–15 years of experience in technical program management supporting hardware and software infrastructure design, development, and deployment.
• Demonstrated leadership of high-availability, high-volume service platform projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or MIS with an advanced technical degree.
• Exemplary English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with lean and agile methodologies, including Scrum, XP, Lean, and Kanban.
• Experience with architecture and project management tools; PMP, solution architecture, ITIL v3, or TOGAF certifications are relevant.
