Product Lead (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; hybrid work model with in-office and remote flexibility

Salary: $215,000–$255,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Core Platform, including the unified task system, dashboard, messaging infrastructure, and shared components.
• Define the system of record for tasks and communications used by vertical product teams across Payroll, Accounting, Tax, and other products.
• Architect the AI integration layer and connect AI support capabilities to the task framework to guide members and reduce support demand.
• Set technical standards for task schemas, notification logic, lifecycle states, and component contracts.
• Partner with Internal Tools and Operations to improve human-in-the-loop workflows, automation, visibility, and resolution efficiency.
• Measure platform health, drive prioritization from data, and align product, engineering, design, and operations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management or technical experience, including work on platform, infrastructure, or horizontal systems products.
• Experience shipping products with AI embedded in core workflows; hands-on experience with LLMs, agentic systems, or AI support layers is preferred.
• Ability to define a roadmap and product function from scratch in an ambiguous environment.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and judgment when establishing platform standards.
• Data fluency for measuring system adoption, platform health, and prioritization outcomes.
• Comfort working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
