Senior Commissioning Manager (Data Centre)

Location: On-site in Groningen, Netherlands; candidates must currently live in or be willing to relocate to Farciennes, Belgium, and already have the legal right to work.

What you will do

• Develop and implement commissioning strategies, plans, procedures, scripts, and schedules.
• Manage the end-to-end commissioning process, including scope, schedule, quality assurance, milestones, budgets, and interdependencies.
• Coordinate design, construction, commissioning teams, client-appointed commissioning teams, and third-party vendors.
• Attend project meetings, monitor progress, resolve issues, and conduct site inspections covering QA/QC and commissioning activities.
• Review and approve commissioning documentation while ensuring compliance with client standards, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
• Build effective relationships with project stakeholders and support collaboration across teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing commissioning for large-scale data centre projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including UPS, switchgear, generators, cooling systems, and other critical infrastructure.
• Experience developing and executing detailed commissioning scripts and schedules.
• Degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent experience.
• Must already have the legal right to work in Belgium.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
