Staff Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; remote role for candidates located in Poland.

Salary: PLN 300,000–440,000 annually, plus equity where applicable, bonus, healthcare coverage, paid time off, and parental leave.

What you will do

• Design and build intelligent customer experience solutions integrating Salesforce CRM, AWS services, and generative AI.
• Develop AI-powered applications using Amazon Bedrock, LangChain, LLM orchestration, prompt workflows, and RAG pipelines.
• Architect resilient APIs, event-driven integrations, and backend services connecting Salesforce, AWS, internal systems, and external applications.
• Lead technical delivery from discovery through production, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, maintainability, and operational support.
• Drive CI/CD, observability, testing, deployment automation, and production excellence using tools including GitHub and Gearset.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and partner with product, design, architecture, security, data, and infrastructure functions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years with customer-facing platforms, enterprise integrations, or CRM-driven systems.
• Strong backend and application development experience with Python or Java and JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience designing cloud-native solutions on AWS, including Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
• Production experience integrating LLMs and generative AI, including prompt orchestration, retrieval pipelines, or RAG workflows.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, API development, testing, maintainable architecture, CI/CD, and automated deployments.
• Ability to lead architecture discussions, influence technical strategy, mentor engineers, and communicate complex ideas clearly.

Nice to have

• Salesforce architecture and development experience with Apex, Lightning, Flow, APIs, and enterprise CRM data models.
• Advanced prompt engineering, evaluation, and optimization experience for customer-facing AI applications.
• Experience with vector databases, embeddings, LangGraph, LangSmith, agentic workflows, Docker, Kubernetes, or advanced AWS services.
• Background in enterprise security, compliance, data governance, or large-scale cross-functional platform initiatives.
