Associate Applied AI Engineer

Salary: 90,000–98,250 PLN gross per year

What you will do

• Implement well-scoped engineering solutions with AI-assisted coding tools under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Evaluate AI-generated code and suggestions critically, identify uncertainty, and escalate complex issues.
• Direct AI tools to create basic tests and validate their output against quality and deployment guidelines.
• Follow deployment runbooks, review observability dashboards, and develop an understanding of SLOs and service reliability.
• Present work in code and design reviews, collaborate with the Product Lead, and translate requirements into working software.
• Build practical skills in prompt engineering, AI IDE integrations, and agentic coding.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI/ML, or a related field, or current enrollment in a relevant programme; equivalent experience is accepted.
• 0–2 years of experience.
• Hands-on ability with AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude Code, including critical evaluation of generated output.
• Familiarity with at least one of Python, Angular, TypeScript, or Java, plus basic testing practices.
• Understanding of deployment runbooks, monitoring, alerting, and service reliability concepts.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills are required for daily collaboration with a global, cross-functional team.

Nice to have

• AI/ML fundamentals certifications, such as Google AI Essentials, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or Azure AI Fundamentals.
• Knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud platforms and serverless technology.
• Experience with Git, GitHub or GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Exposure to Angular, React, Python, Java, or similar frontend and backend technologies.
• Familiarity with observability tools and blue-green or canary deployment strategies.
