What you will do

• Define and own the technical vision and target architecture for the agentic marketing platform, spanning data, services, and agent-facing surfaces.
• Design and ship systems that make content machine-readable and preferred by various AI agent archetypes and browsers.
• Build 0-to-1 products including agent-specific indices, CLIs, and agent-observability tools.
• Architect engineering workflows around fleets of autonomous coding agents to amplify team output.
• Lead a focused engineering squad, setting engineering standards and mentoring senior engineers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, data science, and legal teams to align on priorities and interfaces.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience (or 6+ with a Master’s).
• Hands-on experience with AI systems (LLMs, RAG, agent orchestration, MCPs).
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern backend language such as Java, Kotlin, Go, Python, or Scala.
• Expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and observability tooling.
• Proven experience architecting scalable, high-traffic services.
• Must be located in or authorized to work in the United States (Seattle, WA).

Nice to have

• Experience with marketing technology, ad platforms, or growth/optimization stacks.
• Deep immersion in the AI ecosystem with relationships with frontier labs or AI-native startups.
• Familiarity with AI/ML production patterns, evaluation, and safety guardrails.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous, pre-playbook spaces requiring rapid iteration.
