What you will do

• Design and build AI-powered features based on foundation models, including agents, multimodal retrieval systems, assistants, document analysis, and advanced search.
• Take concepts from early ideas and prototypes through production deployment.
• Build evaluations into AI systems to verify reliability and performance.
• Make decisions about human oversight, unsupervised steps, security, and data protection, especially in regulated environments.
• Work directly with clients to clarify needs and turn vague ambitions into concrete products.
• Share experiments and technical knowledge with the AI practice and colleagues.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field, or a proven track record as an AI Engineer.
• Deep hands-on experience designing, creating, and operating LLM-based solutions, including prompt, context, and harness engineering.
• Strong understanding of agents, tools, and standards such as MCP, agentskills, and A2A.
• Experience with retrieval, reranking, embeddings, chunking strategies, and vector databases.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure as code, OWASP, and LLM-specific security risks.
• Fluent English and proficiency in Dutch or French are required.
