IT Operations Analyst

What you will do

• Monitor business-critical services, infrastructure, applications, and operational workloads across Windows and Mainframe environments.
• Investigate alerts, exceptions, incidents, service disruptions, and production availability issues.
• Perform initial diagnosis, impact assessment, troubleshooting, escalation, and approved service recovery procedures.
• Monitor scheduled batch workloads, investigate processing failures, and support operational processing cycles.
• Maintain incident records, operational documentation, and shift handover information.
• Contribute to improvements in operational efficiency, reliability, documentation, and service quality.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT operations, monitoring operations, production support, application support, infrastructure support, service desk, or a similar environment.
• Strong incident management, troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with monitoring, support, service management, and ticketing tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot operational issues in Windows Server and production environments.
• Ability to work rotating shifts in a 24x7 environment, including weekends and public holidays.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise production environments, batch processing, workload scheduling, or operational automation.
• Familiarity with SCOM, HostMonitor, Control-M, IBM Workload Automation, or similar platforms.
• Exposure to Mainframe environments and operational processes.
• Knowledge of FTP, SFTP, or basic SQL.
