TL;DR
IT Operations Technician (Fintech): Providing end-to-end technical support across hardware, software, systems, networks, and user access with an accent on troubleshooting, infrastructure maintenance, and IT security. Location: On-site in Moka, Moka District, Mauritius

What you will do
- Provide end-to-end IT support across hardware, software, systems, networks, and user access.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, devices, applications, operating systems, and network equipment.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, onboarding and offboarding, and login-related issues.
- Monitor IT systems and networks, resolve service requests, and support infrastructure upgrades and technology implementations.
- Evaluate new technologies and identify opportunities to improve IT processes, efficiency, and user experience.
- Maintain security documentation, incident records, and operating procedures while training users and supporting compliance.
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as an IT Technician or in a relevant position.
- Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, communication, and customer-service skills.
- In-depth understanding of computer hardware, software, systems, and networks.
- Experience with Windows, macOS, Linux, Microsoft Office, and other office automation platforms.
- Knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
Nice to have
- IT technician certification such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified IT Professional.
