Systems Operations Analyst

Location: Jersey City, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $80,000–$95,000 annual base salary plus annual target bonus

What you will do

• Support production workflows, job scheduling changes, operational alerts, incidents, and problems across mainframe and distributed platforms.
• Provide 24x7 technical support and meet service level objectives for production alerts and failures.
• Support automation processes, TLMS software, tape management, and Splunk usage.
• Perform first-level problem determination, resolution, testing, and documentation.
• Maintain operational documentation, procedures, standards, change processes, and production turnover reviews.
• Contribute to projects, IT audit deliverables, and improvements to team processes and tools.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a business degree with related work experience.
• 2–5+ years of data processing experience or equivalent.
• Experience or working knowledge of batch scheduler tools such as AutoSys, RunMyJobs, iZws, or CA-7.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and maintain attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience with AutoOps, IBM Content Manager, or ServiceNow.
• ITIL Foundation Certification.
• Experience tracking incidents and problems in ServiceNow.
