Construction Surveyor

Location: Onsite at Hinkley Point C in Bridgwater, Somerset, United Kingdom; full-time site work on a 10/4 rotation

What you will do

• Carry out setting out for civil, structural, mechanical, and piping installation works.
• Perform precise measurements, layout points, alignment checks, and dimensional verification against drawings, specifications, and engineering requirements.
• Conduct as-built surveys and prepare survey records, reports, sketches, and data files for documentation, handover, progress reporting, and compliance.
• Operate and maintain total stations, GPS, laser scanners, levels, and other surveying equipment, ensuring calibration and certification.
• Support the resolution of dimensional discrepancies and clashes, including model-based verification using 3D models and BIM where applicable.
• Work with construction, engineering, QA/QC, supervisors, and installation teams during walkdowns, inspections, and completion verification.
