Production Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Veldhoven, Netherlands. Regular business hours; no shifts.

Salary: €58,500–€66,000 gross annual fixed salary, including vacation allowance and a 13th-month payment. Company profit sharing is not included.

What you will do

• Maintain, update, validate, and implement production procedures, blueprints, and sequences in line with safety, quality, and applicable standards.
• Support technical improvement projects and drive implementation of the Lean transformation roadmap.
• Define production-tool requirements, secure availability, initiate upgrades, support maintenance, and resolve safety issues.
• Optimize production processes, track and solve issues, and support product transfer into volume production.
• Identify structural issues and bottlenecks in the pilot factory and initiate process improvements.
• Collaborate with Development, Operations, System Install, and Supply Chain Engineering to prevent production issues during product development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics, or another relevant technical field.
• 0–5 years of experience in a production environment.
• Excellent English in spoken and written communication.
• Knowledge and experience with SAP and MS Office.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and a strong analytical approach.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, persuasion, flexibility, teamwork, and stress-management skills.
