Supplier Engineer

Location: Treviso, Italy; travel required up to 25% of the time; relocation is not available.

Salary: €38,400–€52,800 per year

What you will do

• Develop and qualify European suppliers for Build-to-Print components and mechanical assemblies.
• Assess supplier manufacturing capabilities through technical evaluations, capability reviews, and on-site audits.
• Evaluate CNC milling, turning, multi-axis machining, tooling, fixturing, programming, capacity, and process controls.
• Lead manufacturability reviews and technical discussions on machining methods, tolerancing, GD&T, and special processes.
• Drive supplier improvements in quality, delivery, productivity, cost, and process reliability.
• Support supplier selection, root cause investigations, and corrective and preventive actions with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of manufacturing experience in CNC machining environments.
• Strong knowledge of Build-to-Print manufacturing processes and precision mechanical components.
• Deep knowledge of CNC milling, turning, multi-axis machining, CNC controls and programming, tooling, fixturing, surface treatments, and coatings.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, project management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to participate in work-related discussions and explain opinions in English.
