Manufacturing Engineer II (Production Engineering & Design Control)

What you will do

• Create and maintain SolidWorks models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings using GD&T principles.
• Execute Engineering Change Notices in enterprise PLM systems and maintain accurate documentation.
• Develop process documentation, standard work instructions, manufacturing routings, tooling, fixtures, and test setups.
• Provide hands-on shop-floor support by troubleshooting tooling, assembly processes, and equipment issues.
• Conduct time studies, process audits, and workflow assessments to identify bottlenecks and efficiency opportunities.
• Collaborate with Quality, Operations, and Product Management on DFM reviews, process validations, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in manufacturing or production engineering.
• High proficiency in SolidWorks, including part modeling, assemblies, and detailed drawing creation.
• Hands-on experience executing ECNs and managing documentation in a PLM system.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, bonding, and mechanical assembly, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and apply GD&T.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills in a fast-paced production environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and frameworks, including 5S, Kaizen, and DMAIC.
• Familiarity with enterprise ERP systems, manufacturing routings, and BOM structures.
