What you will do

• Create, update, and maintain SolidWorks models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using GD&T principles.
• Execute Engineering Change Notices in the PLM system and maintain accurate, compliant documentation, process instructions, and manufacturing routings.
• Design, procure, and implement production fixtures, tooling, and test setups for assembly operations.
• Provide daily hands-on shop-floor support by troubleshooting tooling, assembly processes, and equipment issues.
• Analyze manufacturing metrics with Excel, Power BI, and internal tools; conduct time studies, process audits, and workflow assessments.
• Collaborate with Quality, Operations, and Product Management on DFM reviews, process validations, and Lean improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role.
• High proficiency in SolidWorks, including robust part modeling, assemblies, and detailed drawing creation.
• Hands-on experience executing ECNs and managing documentation in a Product Lifecycle Management system.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, bonding, and mechanical assembly.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and apply GD&T principles.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced production environment.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills.

Nice to have

• Hands-on knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and frameworks, including 5S, Kaizen, and DMAIC.
• Familiarity with enterprise ERP systems, manufacturing routings, and Bill of Materials structures.
