What you will do

• Lead the editorial, creative, and operational delivery of The News Agents Podcast.
• Set the show’s editorial vision, tone, coverage priorities, storytelling formats, and special episodes.
• Run daily planning with hosts, producers, newsroom, editorial, digital, and technical teams.
• Manage presenters and production teams while overseeing workflows and post-production editing.
• Use audience data, analytics, and listener insight to improve reach, engagement, and editorial impact.
• Plan and lead outside broadcasts, live audience recordings, location-based output, and major news coverage.

Requirements

• Significant senior experience in audio, podcast, radio, or newsroom production.
• Proven experience leading successful news, current affairs, or speech-based programming.
• Exceptional editorial judgement and a strong understanding of the news agenda.
• Experience managing presenters and talent and leading production teams in high-pressure environments.
• Strong scripting, story development, interviewing, editorial planning, organisation, and decision-making skills.
• Strong understanding of media law, compliance, editorial standards, audience metrics, and performance data.
