TL;DR
Production Manager (Broadcasting): Managing live and recorded sports productions across Sky Studios and outside broadcast venues with an accent on production planning, supplier coordination, budget control, and safe delivery. Focus on coordinating complex operational and technical requirements, managing venue and stakeholder relationships, and solving production risks under live event conditions.
Location: Hybrid, with three days per week at the Osterley office, regular travel to venues and sporting events across the UK and worldwide, and a full UK driving licence required.

What you will do
- Manage production processes for live and recorded sporting events and content, coordinating people, facilities, suppliers, and operational activity.
- Prepare and maintain production plans, reports, timelines, and delivery information for stakeholders.
- Manage production budgets, costs, risks, efficiencies, and commercial opportunities.
- Coordinate operational and technical requirements with suppliers, internal technical teams, stadiums, venues, site owners, governing bodies, rights holders, clubs, and external partners.
- Apply health and safety requirements, including risk assessments, documentation, and safe working controls.
- Communicate production status and key updates throughout the production lifecycle.
Requirements
- Strong outside broadcast production and venue management experience delivering complex live or recorded productions.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and working under pressure in a live production environment.
- Financial and commercial awareness, including budget management and cost control.
- Understanding of production health and safety requirements, risk assessments, and safe working practices.
- Appropriate right to work in the UK is required; does not offer visa sponsorship for this position.
