What you will do

• Broadcast a live 3-hour double-headed breakfast show five days a week from the Salford studios.
• Deliver breaking news stories and provide real-time context to the audience.
• Conduct editorially balanced interviews with guests across politics, news, and sport.
• Collaborate on the editorial process to generate creative radio treatments and topical angles.
• Drive audience growth through strong listener relationships and social media strategy.
• Contribute to the expansion of content on hirify.global Sounds and other digital platforms.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in live speech radio presentation, particularly in news or sport.
• Strong editorial judgment and deep knowledge of hirify.global editorial policy.
• Proven ability to scrutinize and explain complex breaking news stories.
• In-depth knowledge of and passion for sports.
• Rigorous journalistic integrity and the confidence to hold powerful figures accountable.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Salford studios.
