Senior Project Manager - Technology

Location: Salford Dock House, Salford, United Kingdom. Flexible working can be discussed during the application and offer process.

Salary: £48,000–£58,000 per year, depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience.

What you will do

• Own and deliver the hirify.global Children in Need technology roadmap and sequence a portfolio of programmes and projects.
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary technology delivery team, including performance, wellbeing, capability and accountability.
• Manage end-to-end portfolio governance, decision-making, assurance, risks, dependencies and organisational controls.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to shape priorities and align technology delivery with fundraising, grantmaking and operational goals.
• Plan delivery resources across internal teams, contractors and third-party suppliers, overseeing supplier performance and commercial value.
• Manage budgets and business cases while tracking costs, benefits, change, adoption and service transition.

Requirements

• Experience leading multiple concurrent technology initiatives from roadmap definition through live operation and benefits realisation.
• Strong people leadership experience, including building, motivating and developing diverse teams.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders in complex organisational environments and managing trade-offs.
• Broad current technology knowledge with hands-on involvement in solution design and delivery.
• Experience managing delivery governance, portfolio risks, budgets, suppliers and resourcing.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom is checked before employment.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering technology in charity, public sector or regulated environments.
• Experience with CRM, finance, fundraising, grant management, eCommerce or data integration platforms.
• Experience delivering cloud-based solutions and data platforms with integration and reporting capabilities.
